My family and I moved to Revelstoke in 2009 from Vancouver and are loving it! Revelstoke is incredible. The people are open and friendly and have made us feel right at home. The town is funky and full of amenities and culture. Our children play on the streets and in the parks as you and I did as children. There is no need for video games here. It is a true natures playground where we are introducing our children (and ourselves) to a plethora of healthy, outdoor adventures and experiences. The summer was amazing, the weather and activities, perfect and as I write this, we are counting down the days until the Mountain opens and we can ski together as a family on what many tell us is the best Mountain in the world! Being on the CP Rail main line we have the possibility of seeing the Rocky Mountaineer or other passenger service make Revelstoke a future destination, the Trans Canada highway which runs through Revelstoke is being four-laned from the BC/AB border to Kamloops where it meets up with the already four-lane Coquihalla and there is a small airport adjacent to the resort property that can accommodate Dash 8’s and private jets.
